Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft is organizing a workshop for Germany’s digital association Bitkom to reflect on the practical implications of the future scenarios “Digital Europe 2030”.

The project “Digital Europe 2030“ combines the topics of the public sphere and digital sovereignty and systematically analyses possible futures in order to provide new impulses to Germany’s approach towards the Presidency of the Council of the EU. In a variety of working sessions, the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft, together with an interdisciplinary group of experts and methodically supported by the company Foresight Intelligence, has developed possible scenarios for the year 2030.

The results of this foresight process can only be effective, however, if they are further thought through together with key economic and political actors. Therefore the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft invites representatives of the digital association Bitkom to an online workshop. We will first present our scenarios for the future to the participants and reflect on them together. Taking into account already existing positions of Bitkom, the practical implications of the scenarios will be further developed.

Participation in the workshop is by invitation only. If you have any questions, please contact Samuel Walker.
